If you are a fan of cannoli but don't want to go to all the fuss of making the traditional ones, these bite-sized treats will meet that craving and can be made and served in under ten minutes. How's that for quick and easy!
Whenever we go to an Italian restaurant, I'm always looking ahead to see what the desserts are so I can gauge my dinner choice. (Do we all do that?) Growing up in an Italian household, we had many wonderful desserts but homemade cannoli was seldom served. I'm thinking because they were a bit putzy.
Traditional cannoli start with a dough that is placed around a mold, deep fried then filled with the creamy ricotta mixture. They are truly wonderful and something I order when I'm out but when I want a quick fix, these bites will do.
Satisfy your cannoli craving with these quick and easy to make bite-sized treats.
The creamy filling is perfect blend of ricotta and mascarpone cheese that is just the right amount of sweetness.
