When you need a pick me up, go for this Pineapple Orange Smoothie. It is so refreshing and you will think you are sitting on a tropical beach and relaxing without a care in the world!
Yum - I'm excited to share this new smoothie recipe with you. Smoothies are all the rage right now and in all seriousness, they are so refreshing and so good for you. I'm a tropical flavor girl so I decided to combine two of my favorite ingredients - pineapple and mandarin oranges. Then I was trying to think of a clever name but nothing came to mind. So you are stuck with what it is - a Pineapple Orange Smoothie! (if you come up with a catchy name, let me know)
I made this drink on Sunday so that means my official taste tester was around - the DIY Guy. I wasn't too sure what he would think but he drank his half and was looking for more! I'll definitely be making these again.
What I think would be really cool is if I had a blender at work. Around 2-2:30 I'm starting to look for a light snack (and keep out of the candy dish!). We have some smoothies places around our campus but they are pretty expensive and I'm not sure if they are as good as homemade. Maybe I can expense that 🙂
What's your favorite smoothie flavor? I think most things go so let me know what you create!
